A referral from Nourtech
When I first started working with these guys, they wanted me to do what I did for Nourtech Which you can read about here.
But during the marketing analysis. It was clear he wanted to shift focus from small residential jobs to larger residential, commercial projects and industrial projects.
Everything about their business was focused on homeowners. They were ready to grow, but their online presence wasn’t ready to attract the commercial clients they needed.
The electrician's website was filled with images and language that spoke to homeowners needing simple repairs. It had nothing that would convince a contractor or business to hire them for a large-scale project. There was also no strategy in place for securing public contracts, which was something they really wanted to tap into.
Website Overhaul
I redesigned/rewrote the website to focus on the commercial side of their business. We updated the visuals to include images of large electrical installations. and rewrote the copy to speak directly to property managers, contractors, and business owners.
No more "small repair" talk
We also added a section specifically for public tenders and bids, making it easy for municipalities and businesses to get in touch when they had a project in mind.
SEO and Content Optimization
With the website set up for commercial clients, the next step was getting it in front of the right people. We optimized the site with industry-specific keywords like “commercial electrician” and “electrical contractor.” This wasn’t just about showing up on Google; it was about showing up for the right searches.
Bidding Strategy for Public Contracts
Finally, we worked on a strategy to help the electrician bid for publicly available contracts. I researched platforms where local contracts were listed and helped them create a professional bidding template that highlighted their skills and past commercial work. This way, they could confidently submit proposals for larger projects.
Here's what he had to say about me.
